About Me
I am a Master of Social Work (MSW) candidate specializing in trauma-informed care, with a focus on complex trauma, including domestic violence recovery. I provide a safe, affirming, and collaborative environment where clients can explore their challenges and strengths. My approach integrates evidence-based interventions tailored to each client’s needs, focusing on creating empowerment and building resilience.
I am trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and somatic-based grounding techniques. With additional expertise in promoting interpersonal skills, valuing self-worth, and supporting clients in reframing negative or unhelpful thought patterns, I help clients navigate the impacts of trauma while building practical skills for self-awareness, emotional regulation, and healthy relationships. I also offer expertise in safety planning and psychoeducation, which empower clients to take control of their healing process.
I also have experience working with children, using creative methods like play therapy to help younger clients process their emotions. My practice is grounded in the belief that every individual deserves respect, dignity, unconditional positive regard, and autonomy on their healing journey.
